Behind my Creative Direction and Makeup Artistry:

My name is Anna Mongeluzo, and I am excited to introducemyself as a Creative Director and Makeup Artist based in Los Angeles. I am passionate about blending creative direction with makeup artistry, and I would love the opportunity to bring my unique vision and skills to your team.

When it comes to creative direction, my approach revolves around “connecting the dots” between elements that tell a compelling story and evoke emotion. Whether I'm working with a brand, an individual, or even a phrase, my goal is not just for people to see—but to feel and

understand the essence behind the subject. I strive to identify the essential factors that make each project whole, using what I call my “unique blend of ingredients.” This allows me to tailor my approach, whether the situation calls for something fun and playful or something more serious and meaningful. I believe in using themes and elements that deeply resonate with the individual, bringing them to life in artistic, tasteful, and engaging ways. Another aspect of my creative direction is embracing imperfections and insecurities. Everyone

has their quirks and vulnerabilities—some quirky, some profound—and I see true beauty in these differences. After years of feeling uncomfortable being “different,” I embraced the idea that there's no rule book for how a person should be. Social norms do not dictate true individuality. I aim to showcase insecurities—whether mental or physical—in ways that are beautiful, presentable, and empowering. My journey in makeup artistry began when turning 13, a major milestone. For me, this meant striving for Vogue-level looks every weekend. I vividly recall flipping through magazines,

analyzing every edit. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for beauty and artistry. Ever since, I've been meticulous with my work, spotting every detail and striving for perfection.My friends would often comment, “you always look so refreshed,” and I'd playfully respond, “I

guess I woke up on the right side of the bed,” sparking laughter all around. It took me a while to appreciate my drive for excellence was more than just a routine—it was a passion for perfecting my craft.

When clients ask why they should choose me as their artist, I confidently promise to make them look like the cover of any issue of any magazine they're wanting to cover. At 26, my adrenaline and excitement for my work continues to grow. I am deeply grateful for the evolution of art and creativity that allows me to express myself and help others feel their best.
